| Toni's
weaving career has reflected the color and tempo of the places
she's lived. She began weaving in New Mexico, then on to Cororado
where sheep ranching provided the materials for warm shawls and
throws. Later, time spent on the hot, humid coast of Texas led
her to experiment with the fine yarns available in cotton, silk,
rayon and tencel...the fibers she most frequently works with now.

Toni is known for her scarves, shawls and table linens. Color and
texture are her fascination, and her goal for each handwoven piece is that it strongly appeal to the visual and the tactile
senses. Only when both come together does she consider a piece successful.
Toni and her husband now reside once agian
in New Mexico, where she is a member of the Las Aranas and Fiber
