Here's a picture that shows some of the variety
we have at the Gallery.
Let's see, there's fine art on the wall, plus tin mirrors, plus
wood carvings. and on the shelf there's some pottery, which includes
a fountain, some chip-n-dips and canisters and then to the side
some weaving.
And that's just a small part of what's available!

Workshops
Seems
like there's always a workshop of some sort going on back in
Jan's studio. This one is hand-building bowls using 'pukis'.
|

Raku Firing
This looks like Chris Lunsford
doing some fancing stepping while firing bowls outdoors in the
ancient Japanese technique of Raku, which produces some amazing
affects.

We have a wonderful mix of arts and
crafts at The Tomé Art Gallery, including tinwork, weaving, lovely
jewelry, pottery of all sorts, bottle cap creations, straw appliqué,
religious art, cookbooks and poetry, felted bags and wall hangings and
so much more. There is something to please almost everyone here, from
the contempory to the more traditional southwestern look. We also have
the world-famous work of the potters of Mata Ortiz in Casas Grande,
Mexico. Come in any time!
‹ We have
lots of one-of-a-kind cards to go with your gifts. Be sure to pick one
up on your way out. It adds an extra piece of artwork for your friends
and family.
