My current work tends towards fine art, combining beads, hand-felted wool, wire and other mixed media. These pieces are often three dimensional, as with beaded lampshades. I am continuing to work on painted canvas with beads, using raised beaded areas that create the look of relief carving. Themes I am working with are inspired by Nature, astronomy, explorations of form and diverse cultural influences. My work has become a reflection of my life and travels. I have also moved into the area of community art. I find this invigorates and inspires my work.

I collaborate with my husband, Andrew Frank, on many of the larger pieces. We have been collaborating for 18 years. Our son, Tommy, has also become involved in these collaborative efforts.
