PROCEDURES FOR JOINING

1. Submit a minimum of three pieces of your work for jurying by Coop Member/Managers. Indicate retail prices of each item and the range of prices in which you usually sell your work.

2. Upon your acceptance, select a membership category:

Member/Manager
Working Member I
Working Member II
Financial Member
Consignment Member
(Information sheet provided)

3. Complete a Coop contract, indicating membership category selected (see next page for choices), and return to Coop Membership Representative.

4. Prepare an inventory (form provided) of pieces you will place in the Gallery and return to Membership Representative. The list will be placed in an inventory book kept under the front counter in the Gallery. It is the artist's responsibility to keep this list up to date.

5. When your contract and inventory are received, your work will be placed in the Gallery by the Gallery curators at their discretion contingent upon the availability of space. Management, working, and financial members will receive first priority. You may be asked to help supply items upon which to display your work (shelf, pedestal, case, etc.)

6. Working members will be assigned two or three days a month to work in the Gallery (depending on selected category). The Gallery is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please tell the Membership Representative if you wish to protect any of these days or of any time periods each month you will be unavailable. Schedules will be prepared on the 15th of the month prior to the scheduled month.

After the schedule is distributed, each worker is responsible for finding his/her own replacements if you can’t work those days. The Membership Representative will arrange for a "first-day-on-the-job" orientation.
