GREG

Red Plaid Shawl

Greg's primary focus is weaving. He started weaving in the 1970’s after visiting a weaving studio in the Midwest. A combination of the mechanics and creativity of fiber interlacement opened this art form to him. Color and texture combined with the feel of the yarns is what inspires Greg to weave. He produces mostly scarves, shawls and ruanas using rayon, cotton, wool, silk and other natural fibers . He has taught weaving and been in numerous juried shows.

Stained Glass Panel

Greg's interest in glass began a few years before he retired. He now creates simple yet elegant stained glass panels. It seemed natural to move from the stained glass to working with hot glass. Torch worked glass beads and fused glass followed. Greg creates beads which his wife, Deb, combines with commercial beads for one-of-a-kind necklaces. He also sells individual beads.

Working together, Greg and Deb design fused glass pendants and earrings using dichroic and non-dichroic glass. (See Deb's page on this site.)
