Beginning at a young age, Deb’s interest
in fiber began with sewing and knitting. When she learned to weave in
the 1970’s it seemed like a natural progression into the world
of fiber.
She still sews, knits (mostly hats) and
weaves, but has gone one step farther into felting.
Needle-felted pins are an outgrowth of
this embellishment process. She has created a number of felted pins
and uses beads to dress them up.
Beading is also one of Deb’s interests.
She creates earrings and necklaces, sometimes using her husbands’
hand-made beads. She also works with Greg to design fused glass pendants
and earrings. (See Greg's page on this site.)
